A friend taught me a lesson a few days ago: "Talk to strangers".

It's strange that when we are young, we are taught the anti-social behavior: "Don't talk to strangers". But remember that each person is special and can teach you something about life; you never know what you can gain. A new friend, a life's lesson, or maybe even an...ahem, lifelong partner. I'm not talking about approaching everyone in the shopping mall, but you should be able to start a conversation with the person next to you in the jeep (or bus, boat, or plane), or at a coffeeshop or bar. There is so much about people...it wouldn't hurt to try...
